Keeping Up With The Co-op - August 2022

August 12, 2022

Board of Directors Election Results

On July 20, members came together and voted in a new board members and welcomed back two returning members!

Welcome and congratulations to Andrien Rackov! Andrien understands the value of community-driven organizations and is keen to help support the Fredericton Bouldering Co-op in its strategic goals, values, and aspirations!

Returning as the VP of Business development, Ian McLeod brings experience and a wealth of knowledge to the board. He was an integral part in getting our Strategic Planning Committee off the ground and always has the longevity of FBC in mind. Welcome back Ian!

As a founding member and current Interim Executive Director, we also want to welcome Carlie Dunbar back to the board. Carlie was a part of FBC from its inception and while she took a break for a couple years, she recently rejoined the team as the Interim ED while our Jennie is out on mat leave. Carlie will officially take her seat on the board in December when she steps away from the ED position.

Andrien, Ian, and Carlie are joining current board members, Caleb Mazurkiewicz (President), Adam Morgan (Strategic Director), Pierre Grandmaison (VP Human Resources), and Olwyn Klinker (VP Programming) on the 2022 FBC Board of Directors!

We want to take a moment to thank and recognize all the hard work of members departing the board this year. Catie Foley (VP Finance) and Rob Brown (VP Marketing), THANK YOU! You have helped guide us and have contributed in such positive ways. We appreciate the time and effort you have put in during your tenor on the FBC Board and we wish you the best!
