Leap Year 2020 saw climbers from around the Maritimes invade Fredericton for Get Sendy, FBC’s second climbing competition. Taking the Leap Day literally, climbers threw themselves around on a set of problems that definitely had dynamic tendencies! Morning qualifiers were followed by an evening finals, where the top six men's and women's scores from all categories advanced to finals. The atmosphere was charged for the finals that saw youth competitors qualifying alongside adults for finals in both men’s and w
omen’s categories! Super strong performances from all finalists, but in the end Igor Ignatov and Monika Leblanc climbed in superior fashion; Igor with four tops, and Monika with three tops. A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers who helped make Get Sendy happen.
