'20 Grit'
Join us for our double feature night at FBC - we are stoked to be a stop on the official '20 Grit' tour!
About '20 Grit':
‘Set on an island of endless granite, three women carve their way through Dover Island’s most profound boulders. “20 Grit” highlights the importance of utilizing each individual climbers unique strengths while embracing the power of collaboration and community.’
The evening will feature a viewing of 'Carved From Stone' (film by Tyler Burr), followed by a short introduction from Emily, the showing of the '20 Grit', and then a Q&A/Climb Session with her afterwards! Door prizes from the film sponsors available to be won.

Admittance will be a donation to The Cure Foundation to help fundraise for women with breast cancer. This can be through this ticket link or in person but please sign up in advance (there is an in person donation option) so we can have a general idea of how many people will attend.
Climbing Film Tour
Join us for the Climbing Film Tour (CFT6) on November 8th 2025 in partnership with UNBRI and Ascent NB!
The film night will take place at UNB in the Kin Building.
The CLIMBING FILM TOUR is a touring film festival that was created and conceived by the team behind VERTICAL LIFE Magazine in 2020 when many events were being impacted by COVID-19.
This year the tour will run for a 6th time starting in November 2025 with an all new set of films focused on climbing, mountaineering and our life in the mountains. The festival tour started in Australia & New Zealand and in its second season expanded to include screenings in the USA, Canada, UK and South
Africa which have continued to grow.
