FBC Climbing Team
The Youth/Teen Development Team will be for Youth ages 11-17.
It is suggested that climbers can climb V2 routes, but final acceptance on to the team will depend on how many climbers try-out, commitment to train, and of course attitude! If you are not selected for the team, or prefer to train once per week, there still may be an option of a once-per-week skills class (Beginner or Intermediate-V2+). Please let us know if you'd prefer this option!
"The FBC Bouldering Team is a train-to-compete program. Athletes selected for this team must be committed to attaining their personal best through training for competitive climbing. This team focuses on recruiting technical, tactical and strength gains that help athletes attain higher levels of performance. Athletes will be expected to attend all possible practices and work hard for themselves and their fellow teammates.
Objectives of this program are to develop your physical, mental, cognitive and emotional abilities through climbing and community building. This developmental program will help increase your levels of self-motivation, discipline, and professionalism."
